She graduated BA LLB from The WB National University of Juridical Sciences. She has worked as a part of Increasing Diversity with Increasing Access to Legal Education (IDIA) in North-Eastern India, helping improve outreach programmes in the region. She was an Assistant Editor for Journal of Indian Law and Society (JILS). She has worked on M&A regulations in the Oil and Natural Gas sector at Competition Commission of India. She has also worked in the Prison Reform Cell at Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, and has partnered in legislative research with Odisha State Human Rights Commission as well. She has been formerly employed in Thomson Reuters where she worked extensively in regulatory mapping and compliance issues. She is an avid reader and is an unapologetic lover of British classics. She also likes to watch period dramas.
